About EVI

Emerald Valley Intergroup (EVI) is an A.A. service office that carries out functions common to the A.A. groups in Districts 6, 19, 20 and part of 34, as part of Oregon Area 58. EVI is staffed
by trusted servants and is funded entirely by contributions from A.A. groups and individual
members.

EVI serves as a central office for member and group needs such as:

  1. Receiving and following up on 12 Step calls.
  2. Answering inquiries about AA.
  3. Establishing local public information committees.
  4. Maintaining information about local hospitals and recovery facilities for alcoholics.
  5. Publishing local AA meeting lists.
  6. Providing a newsletter.
  7. Ordering, selling and distributing AA Conference-approved literature.

The EVI office is located in Eugene, Oregon and is open 7 days a week. Office hours are 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Saturday and 9 am – 4 pm on Sunday. The phone is staffed 24/7/365.

The office has many AA books, pamphlets, event flyers, meeting lists and other material available at cost.  EVI business meetings are held at the office when face-to-face is possible.

Any one with interest in AA is welcome and encouraged to come by the office.

EVI committees provide AA social and educational activities, archive local historical documents, maintain this website, hosting a monthly speaker meeting, staff the office and answer phone calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! We are an active and fun loving group, come join us.

EVI maintains these services through a network of volunteers and financial support from local groups and members. EVI holds its business meeting the third Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the EVI office and online (details on calendar – link at top of the page). You are welcome and encouraged to come to a monthly meeting and learn more. Volunteers are always welcome on committees.
